Pizzeria Da Baffetto

This restaurant is one of Rome’s world famous pizza restaurants. even its reputation has spread so much that you can hardly find the recommendation of this restaurant in the world I can say that there is no Rome recommendation. So we set off with this curiosity and took the path to this pizzeria, which is located in a narrow alley. If you do not have navigation in your hand, it may be difficult to find this street on your own, but it will also show you who you ask around.

Now let’s come to our comment. I said this venue is very popular either so you can expect serious sorts especially for dinner. If you go like us in the afternoon, you can eat immaculate without waiting. Prices are around 10-15 EUR. As for the place; The place seemed a bit sloppy and not hygienic to us. The uncle has unfortunately rude waiters at the location. For some reason, this type of old and famous places are now waiters tired of working for years.

The pizza is yes really tasty but it is debated as much as the queue is worth the wait. In our opinion, Da Baffetto Pizzeria is a somewhat exaggerated place that has become a popular cultural icon. I’d say you give it a try, though. Maybe there are so many people who know.

Pompi (Tramisu and Ice Cream)

Here’s the answer for the question “What to eat in Rome?” The first answer to the question was for us. If we say the best tramis we’ve ever had, Be sure to try this sweet paradise on the street just across the Spanish Steps. Your mind will go away, I promise.

Giolitti (Ice Cream)

There is no need for Giolitti. Just the most famous ice cream store in Rome. When you go to the shop you will see the crowd at the beginning of the street… Even if your tonsils are huge, you can’t stop eating that ice cream when you see so many people.

You have to get chips from the cash register before you can get the ice cream here. Since there is no English directive, that part is a bit difficult. Take a napkin because the Roman ice cream (gelato) melts very fast. You might even get a cupta instead of cones. We officially ate hard in the heat 🙂 boy was freezing up to our wrist like our hands.

II Pomodorino and Numbs (Italian Nestaurants)

I will not tell you these restaurants in detail. We went here for 2 consecutive nights. Numbs is one of the restaurants just across the street from the Spanish Steps. We could call it a tourist spot. The menu includes pasta, pizza, mozarella, wine and all Italian restaurant dishes. We enjoyed what we ate. You can get up to an average of 20-25 EUR per person.

I’m going to say exactly the same thing for Pomodorino. They are 2 famous restaurants that don’t have a very special occasion, only the foursquare scores are very high. It is recommended.

Alice Pizza Point

This cross-street pizzeria is a place we randomly discover on our first day to the Vatican. As we walked down the main road, we saw the crowd across the street on the left and tried to say what it was. The place is very small, pizzas are sold in pounds as in many fornoas (bakeries) in Rome. When you take it, you say weight and they cut it out and put it in your hand.

There’s no place to sit in this place. You take your pizza and eat it outside on the sidewalk. Prices; You can get around 5 EUR. The pizza of this place has become one of our favorites. Would definately recommend. A must try.

Pastificio (Pasta)

One of the Rome’s most singular places: You know there are some places in some countries. Aged owners say “I’m tired of making money”. This is the same place. This is an old macaroni brother who closes the place around 2-3 noon. The concept of the place is pasta and wine on a plastic plate for 4 EUR. Pasta comes from the owner cooking whatever he wants that day.

The location is just across the street from the Spanish Steps, opposite Pompi. We couldn’t go to this place from time to time. You can not miss this flavor. These restaurants are the nice places that we try and stay in our minds. Dozens like these await you in Rome. Come on, buy tickets, move on, what do you stop.
