Montenegro: A fairytale country of Adriatic Sea

Montenegro is the perfect destination for you, if you want to explore new cultures and enjoy the sea. Montenegro is an ideal destination for last-minute holiday plans thanks to its emerald-colored beaches on the shore of the Adriatic Sea and the lush green paradise where nature and nature embrace.

After landing in Montenegro’s capital Podgorica by plane, it won’t take much time to reach the coastal part of the country. Because Montenegro is a very small country and almost evokes fairy tales. The mountain and sea environment of the Italian-inspired, Balkan-warm cities and towns on the Adriatic coast of Montenegro await you for a wonderful holiday.

Montenegro: A fairytale country of Adriatic Sea

Kotor

Kotor Bay is one of the most important places to see in Montenegro. In the heart of the Bay of Kotor is the city of Kotor of the same name. Kotor is a fascinating historical city center, a place where you can’t understand how time passes on its stone streets.

The Venetians built this place and it was reflected in the charm of Italian architecture in Kotor. Tiny squares, fountains and charming cafes are sure to fascinate you.

Would you like to watch the wonderful view of Kotor Bay from above. We strongly recommend that you climb the hill where St. John’s Church is located. You can also walk on the walls on both sides of Kotor to see the bay and the city from a different angle.

Perast

Places to see in Kotor Bay are not limited to the center of Kotor. Perast is also a tiny town with an amazing location and architecture. You can reach here by road from Kotor in a short time and you can go by boat.

Although this place is small enough to be visited in a short time, if you intend to swim in the sea, you can spend an entire day with pleasure. Opposite Perast are two tiny islands, one artificial and the other natural. There is a monastery in the natural part of it, so it is not open to visit, and on the other island, Our Lady of the Rocks, there is a museum and a church.

Dobrota

The Bay of Kotor is also worth seeing in Dobrota. It is a seaside town and is surrounded by the sea where all the houses on the shore have their own tiny piers. You can watch the spectacular sunsets from the tiny, local restaurants on the beach, and this can be a good place to stay in terms of both calmness and plenty of options when visiting the coast of Montenegro.

Budva

Budva is another place that comes to mind when you think of Montenegro. However, because of its popularity and entertainment center, it may not appeal to those seeking a peaceful holiday; especially in high season months like July and August.

Sveti Stefan

Sveti Stefan is an islet built as a trading port. Enchanting with its postcard-like appearance, the island now hosts the jet-set names of the world as a branch of the luxury hotel chain Aman. The only way to visit Sveti Stefan without staying in the hotel is to eat in the hotel’s restaurants. But even if you don’t set foot on the island, the pleasure of watching it from the beach is definitely worth experiencing. One side of the road leading to the island is the hotel’s beach, but the other side is open to the public.
