This time, I want to take you to two islands near Naples, not known by the travelers. Procida Island and Ischia Island of the movie named “The Postman” tells the life of Pablo Neruda.. Nature, sea, flavor are the sine qua non of these places. And how is it different from Capri? I answer: the price.
Ischia Island is located near the Amalfi Coast and Capri’nın shadow of the Turks is not much of a favorite. You fly to Naples to get there and ferry from Beverello Port to the island in 45 minutes. I recommend you to stay on the island of Ischia Ponte on six different regions.

Ischia Porto is another beautiful area where Hotel Terme Floridiana is located. This island, which is generally preferred by Italians, is bigger than Capri, so you must rent a motorcycle or a car. Ischia is a summer paradise. Don’t expect iconic boutiques, shops like other tourist beaches, here’s a shopping world that caters to modest Italian tourists.
Enter thermal pools
Be sure to go to Negombo Beach one day. This is a giant thermal park. There are different degrees of thermal pools and they are all beautiful. A completely natural facility. The sea is not bad either. Entrance is 35 Euros. Aglio olio e Pomodoro (081 1914 3460) is a great restaurant for dinner in Ischia Ponte. Two people eat and drink the world, 40 Euro account comes.
Pizzas, seafood, all very tasty. La Tavernetta Del Pirata (081 999251) on the side of S. Angelo is one of my favorite places. The restaurant is very special, the dishes is literally excellent. Be sure to visit the Forio area. It is very enjoyable to sit here on the main square and have a coffee. A very good hotel in Mezzatore if you want to make a chic for dinner. I suggest you take a look.
Rent a boat
Boat rentals are available at Ischia. It is possible to find beautiful fiber boats which they call ‘barchetta günlüğü for 100 Euros a day from anywhere. It is pleasant to swim around the island and swim in the sea. The real surprise is on Procida Island, very close to Ischia. If I say the postman (Il Postino) film was made, maybe you will remember the island. You can reach here in 25 minutes by boat. It is a UNESCO-protected place that has not been nailed for years and looks like a postcard. Connect your boat to the famous ancient harbor and take a tour of the island.
